Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)Location: Kokomo, IN (onsite)Shift: Must be flexible (training on 1st shift; placement on 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends as needed)Pay rate - $28/hour on W2 - $32/hour on W2.Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead frontline teams in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving daily performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery while fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture.The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and a hands-on approach to managing people and production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop a team of hourly production employees in a dynamic manufacturing settingEnsure daily production targets are achieved across safety, quality, delivery, and cost metricsManage staffing levels, including attendance, call-offs, and shift reassignmentsDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, WCM, Kaizen, or similar methodologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, maintenance, etc.) to resolve production challengesPromote and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all policies and proceduresAddress and resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime and disruptionsMaintain consistent application of workplace policies and support a positive team environmentRequired QualificationsProven experience in a supervisory or leadership role (manufacturing or similar environment preferred)Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentFlexibility to work off-shifts, weekends, and overtime as requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience in high-volume manufacturing environmentsPrior experience leading production teams or crewsExposure to unionized work environmentsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, WCM, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologiesAdditional InformationUnion experience is not required; however, professionalism, accountability, and strong interpersonal skills are essentialContinuous improvement training (including Lean/SIS) will be providedThis is a hands-on leadership role with strong growth potential
