Instruction emphasizes immersive ASL use and Deaf culture. Additional responsibilities include course preparation, student assessment, and adherence to departmental and university policies.Required Qualifications:Demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)Ability to teach ASL using an immersive, visually based approachEffective communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Prior teaching experience in ASL at the secondary or post‐secondary levelDegree in ASL, Sign Language Education, Deaf Studies, or a related fieldExperience teaching online or hybrid coursesAppointment Details:This is a temporary, adjunct appointment.
