CDL Class A Driver

Job Description As a CDL Driver for DQS you will have the rewarding job of transporting automotive equipment to/from a local manufacturing plant (short distance hauls). Our drivers are home daily! Please read the description below and apply within.Duties· Safely operate a 53-foot tractor trailer.· Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment (if needed).· Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.· Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition.· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.· Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.· Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and delivery protocols.Experience· Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.· Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with the appropriate endorsements (tanker, manual transmission, etc.)· Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.Skills· Proficient in driving various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds.· Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.· Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers and team members.HoursA Crew: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm - $24hrB Crew: Tuesday-Friday 6:00pm-4:30am - $25hrC Crew: Friday/Saturday 6:00am-4:30pm Sunday/Monday 6:00pm-4:30am $26hrNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
