Assist the Project Superintendent with site logistics (trailer, temp facilities) to ensure project is set up for success Manage and lead the RFI, submittal, and procurement process Coordinate and effectively communicate with Project Architects, Engineers, Owners, Subcontractors and Field Personnel with current project status and critical issues Understands and recognizes quality workmanship Assist Project Manager in cost management and reporting Prepare and plan for weekly OAC, trade, and pre-install meetings. Document and distribute meeting minutes weekly. Manage, generate, and execute subcontractors and subcontractor change orders Maintain up-to-date project logs including monthly project progress reports and project controls Maintain our construction management software (Procore) and document/drawing management Assist in managing project production and scheduling including CPM updates, mapping sessions, pull plans, etc. Lead the closeout process including owner training, punch-list and as-builts Education / Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or engineering preferred but not required 1-3 years of experience as a construction Project Engineer Experience should be in commercial construction, preferably in Healthcare (OSHPD), Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Office Improvements Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Bluebeam, Project Management Software (Procore), and scheduling software (Microsoft Project) Interpersonal Skills - ability to engage with clients, internal team members and trade contractors in a constructive, productive way to overcome obstacles and achieve result.
