Reporting to the Global Head of Finance Operations, this role will drive transparency, strengthen internal controls, and enable data-driven decision-making across key operational processes.This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building scalable reporting capabilities and a robust governance environment aligned with the finance operating model.Location: This position will be based out of our London, New York City or Purchase New York office. We strive for collaboration, which is why we offer a work environment where our employees thrive and develop long-lasting careers.Our Business, Your Impact, Our OpportunityWhat You’ll Be Doing…Design and implement standardized global reporting frameworks across Finance OperationsEstablish KPIs, metrics, and reporting methodologies for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and related processesDeliver insights on performance, trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior leadershipEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across finance systems and reporting toolsLeverage analytics to support operational decision-making and continuous improvementEstablish and maintain governance structures and internal control frameworks across finance operationsPartner with Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance to strengthen controls and address findingsSupport audit readiness and ensure alignment with regulatory and accounting requirementsDrive consistency in reporting and governance practices across global teamsLead and develop a high-performing team, fostering transparency and accountabilityWhat You’ll Bring…10+ years of experience in finance reporting, governance, or operational finance roles, including leadership experienceStrong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and governance frameworksExperience operating in global, multi-entity environments with complex structuresProven track record of designing and implementing reporting frameworks and control environmentsStrong analytical and data interpretation skills with a focus on performance insightsExperience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and data toolsAbility to influence and partner effectively with senior finance and business stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldAt Sompo, we recognize that the talent, skills, and commitment of our employees drive our success.
