Our team operates within an ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System and emphasizes continuous improvement, technical excellence, and collaboration across departments.What You’ll Do:Perform advanced first article (FAIR), in-process, final, and receiving inspectionsInterpret complex engineering drawings and ensure compliance with specificationsApply advanced GD&T principles to verify form, fit, and functionUtilize CMM and FARO equipment for programming and inspection of complex geometriesDevelop inspection strategies for tight-tolerance and high-risk componentsConduct weld inspections and specialized inspections as neededReview and redline drawings and travelers for accuracy and manufacturabilitySupport ISO 9001:2015 compliance, including calibration, traceability, and product releaseLead internal audits and support CAPA/root cause analysis effortsMaintain inspection documentation, FAIRs, and traceability systemsAssist in creating and revising work instructions and operational method sheetsWhat’s In It for You:Opportunity to step into a senior-level, technical leadership roleHands-on work with advanced inspection technology and processesInvolvement in continuous improvement and cross-functional initiativesCollaborative team environment with strong quality-driven cultureCareer growth through mentorship and leadership opportunitiesWhat You Need to Have:5-8+ years of mechanical inspection experience in machining and/or fabricationStrong experience with GD&T (advanced level preferred)Proficiency with CMM and/or FARO programming and inspectionExperience performing FAIR inspections and reportingStrong understanding of ISO 9001 quality systemsAbility to interpret complex engineering drawings and specificationsThe Musts:Proficient with hand measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.)Experience with in-process, receiving, and final inspectionsKnowledge of traceability, RMA processes, and part markingAbility to support calibration and measurement systemsStrong documentation and organizational skillsEffective communication across teamsPreferred:Technical degree or formal training in quality or manufacturingExperience with internal auditing (ISO 9001)Background in optical comparator programmingExperience with laser part engravingExperience with weld inspection (AWS standards)Leadership or training experience mentoring junior inspectorsNext Steps:Please respond with an updated resume!Call Kacie at 971-246-8429 or Ricky at 971-246-8432 to schedule an interview!
