Spot Welder/Tank Fabricator - 2nd shiftPay Rate: 14.75/hrPrimary Summary: The associate will assemble metal components of various gauges and dimensions and spot weld for stress and position, according to design specifications and company quality standards, using a resistance spot welder. Operate a variety of metal fabrication equipment to cut, bend, shape, and form metal parts. Follows standard operating procedures in the production / assembly process according to design specifications, company quality standards, and safety procedures. Visually inspects the unit before passing to the next cell. Fully engages with team and other associates to troubleshoot problems and drive continuous improvement in the plant. Performs other duties, provides support and coverage on all operations on line as requested by supervisor. Cross training and flexibility required. Standing, bending, reaching and handling bulky parts is common to the job. Frequently lifts up to 35 pounds. Minimum Qualifications: • Requires high school diploma or GED. • Ability to read, interpret and follow wiring diagrams and blueprints as shown in SOE. Ability to read and differentiate part numbers, labels and work instructions. • Beginner Computer skills or willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications: • Preferred manufacturing experience.
