Senior Java Software Engineer – Legacy Modernization

Secondary responsibilities include project related activities (integrate new libraries, solution customization, automation), or other language modernization.What You’ll Need To Do Design Java solutions for modernizing legacy applications Write well designed, testable code Problem solving, including helping others Participate in code reviewsIt's expected that you'll spend most of the time on technical/coding activities.Development is done mostly on Windows machines, and CTU is built on eclipse.Preferred EducationBachelor's DegreeRequired Technical And Professional Expertise 7+ years' experience of Java Development Experience with Java libraries (Spring Framework, Guava, Apache Commons, Guice /Dependency Injection, JPA, EMF) Good SQL / ORM/ Relational Databases knowledge Practical skills in CI/CD - some of Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, Jira Good command of Test-Driven DevelopmentPreferred Technical And Professional Experience Compilation technologies / ANTLR / XText Cloud /Kubernetes Performance Tuning MVS / COBOL / JCL
