Amazon DSP Delivery Driver

This is a Full Time Driver position with Packagejet LLC delivering packages out of a Grand Rapids Amazon facility!We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery employees enjoy being out on the road, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.We are looking for team players who desire to grow with the Company* Military veterans are welcome!* Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatoryBenefits & Scheduling:$22.25-$23.50 paid weekly10-hour shifts are typical4-day work week 10.5 hours shifts is typicalA minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30 minute meal breakOpportunity for performance incentives and bonusesMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance (Note: Employees who work on average less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance)Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employmentKey Duties & Responsibilities:Successfully handle and deliver packages on timeSafely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicleFollow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policiesProvide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditionsKeep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locationsCommunicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completedUse smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team membersLoad and unload packages in delivery vehicleSupport the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routesRequirements:Must be at least 21 years oldMust hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's licenseMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust successfully pass a background checkMust successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skillsEquipment Provided:Delivery Vehicle & GasHandheld technologyUniformsOther safety and administrative gear necessary for job accomplishmentHIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-3 WEEKS to COMPLETE.
