Founded and operated by Athletic Trainers, Premier Sports Medicine's mission is to keep our athletes safe while supporting the Athletic Trainer community with competitive opportunities.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position with a secondary school in Union City, PA. In this role, you will provide coverage for practices and games, along with coordinating access to additional health care for their athletes. Additionally, there will be opportunities for weekend events and/or PRN work.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide athletic training coverage at practices, games, and eventsPrevent, assess, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuriesMaintain accurate injury and rehabilitation recordsCollaborate with coaches, physicians, and other key stakeholders as neededSupport injury prevention and strength/conditioning initiativesAssist with the development of concussion and wellness programsParticipate in continued professional development and company programs (CPR training, impact testing, etc.).QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master’s preferred)Certification: Current BOC certification and eligible for state licensureExperience: New Graduates Encouraged (3–5 years preferred); supervisory experience is a plus.Key SkillsStrong assessment and critical thinking skillsAbility to communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, families, and medical personnelOrganized and detail-oriented with strong documentation practicesTeam-player with initiative and adaptability.Physical DemandsAbility to lift up to 100 lbs and work on your feet for extended periodsCarry medical medical kit(s) and other necessary equipmentWork indoors and outdoors in varied conditions.Additional InfoTravel may be required for event coverageNo required clinical hoursMust pass background check and/or drug testReliable transportation required.Starting Annual Salary$60,000.00 - $65,000.00BenefitsGenerous Paid Time OffHealth/Vision/Dental InsuranceStrong Work Life BalanceProfessional development opportunitiesPotential for additional income through per diem eventsPremier Sports Medicine provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
