Proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.QualificationsRequired:Current and unencumbered licensure or Interim Permit as a Registered Nurse (RN) through the Nevada State Board of NursingAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providersAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers within six (6) months of hire or position entryMust successfully complete National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 180 days of hire or position entryMust successfully complete Non-Violent Crisis intervention within six (6) months of hire or position entryPreferred:Bachelor of Science in NursingA minimum of one-year Acute Care experienceCMS-RN, OCN, PCCN, ONS chemotherapyPrimary departments to float to:Medical/OncologySurgical/OrthopedicsSierra PostopTelemetryClinical Decision Unit (CDU)Behavioral Health InpatientAdditional departments expected to float to:* Emergency Dept.
