Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.Job DescriptionCompletes routine laboratory procedures such as but not limited to preparation of solvents, buffers, media, mixing of chemicals, etc.Reports timely and accurate test results according to laboratory policies and proceduresFollows GDP standards for all documentation.Routine maintenance of lab instruments and troubleshooting.Stores chemicals properly, disposes of chemical waste, adheres to safety procedures, and participates in safety programs.Manages inventory, maintains laboratory supplies including glassware and chemicals for biotech/pharmaceutical processes.Tracks and documents chemical usage and inventory.Maintains clean room to prevent contamination and integrity of production.Operates laboratory equipment and instruments.Calibrate balances and pH meters.Inspect laboratory safety stations.QualificationsBachelors degree in a scientific concentration1-2 years’ experience in a laboratory setting and understanding of laboratory equipment a plusGxP training a plusValid Driver’s License and transportation Conform to all customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances and medical checkupsRequires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform testsAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without rescritctions or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm.
