Job Title: Testing Laboratory InternReports To: Sr. Testing Lab ManagerDepartment: R&D CosmeticsFLSA Status: Non-ExemptLocation: Ft. LauderdalePosition SummaryThe Testing Laboratory Intern works under the direction and supervision of the Sr. Testing Lab Manager and Testing Lab Analyst. This position supports the Testing Laboratory in coordinating the implementation and maintenance of clinical and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) documentation.The role provides hands-on assistance in all phases of testing projects, including panel recruitment, data collection, analysis support, and preparation of final reports.Key Responsibilities Perform instrumental efficacy tests using established procedures under supervision Assist in developing and maintaining a database of volunteers Support internal testing and assist with panelist recruitment and coordination Assist in interpreting sensory, perception, and instrumental test results and report discrepancies Maintain accurate records of procedures, results, and tests performed Organize test results in spreadsheets and perform basic statistical calculations Support daily laboratory operations, including cleanliness and equipment calibration Prepare shipments to external laboratories Assist with scientific communications and documentation Support translation of documents (English/Spanish) as needed Follow company procedures, safety standards, and GLP guidelines Participate in meetings, training sessions, and additional assigned dutiesEqual Employment Opportunity Statement: Cosmo International Fragrances is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
