Locum Orthopedic Trauma SurgeonAssignment Overview:Seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide ongoing locum coverage due to a provider resignation. Coverage is anticipated for up to two weeks per month for approximately 6 9 months.Schedule:Initial coverage: May 20 (7:00 AM) May 25 (7:00 AM)Ongoing coverage up to two weeks per month based on internal provider scheduling24/7 emergency department call coverage with dedicated PA supportOutpatient clinic responsibilities include three morning clinic sessions per week (Monday Friday, schedule to be determined)Practice Setting:Hospital and outpatient clinicEMR: EpicStrong hospital and clinic support staff, including physician assistants and medical assistantsClinical Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma careManage emergency department consults and surgical casesPerform a full spectrum of orthopedic procedures, excluding complex pelvic casesParticipate in outpatient orthopedic clinic careTypical case volume varies from 0 7 admissions per dayQualifications:Board Certified Orthopedic SurgeonFellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma (trauma-experienced surgeons without fellowship may be considered if credentialing requirements are met)Minimum of 5 years Level II trauma experience requiredWashington State medical license strongly preferred or IMLC with Letter of QualificationBLS and DEA required (may be obtained upon offer acceptance)Clean malpractice history preferredAvailability at time of name clear requiredCredentialing:* Estimated timeframe: daysTravel:* Travel and lodging accommodations available based on provider needsby Jobble
