This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and contribute to the validation of high-performance Ampere processors.The Ampere Internship program focuses on you to build your networks, support your efforts in making an impact, and giving you exposure to what Ampere does and how Ampere operates across the company. We want you to leave with the feeling that what you've worked on made a difference, a new level of confidence of what you're capable of, technical expertise, and a new network of contacts.Internship period is full-time for summer 2026 (May/June - August/September)What you'll achieve:• Participate in the development and automation of ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test programs for next-generation Ampere CPUs.• Contribute to the automatic generation of test programs using the SMT8 platform, ensuring efficient and comprehensive silicon validation.• Provide critical support for test program debug and optimization, specifically focusing on .stdf file analysis for Unified Test Database (UTD).• Collaborate with experienced ATE engineers to understand test methodology, hardware-software interaction, and data analysis techniques.• Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard ATE platforms, test flows, and data post-processing tools.About you:• Strong foundational understanding of digital logic and computer architecture.• Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++ and scripting languages like Python or Perl.• Exposure to working in a Linux environment and command-line tools.• Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts (e.g., circuits, signals, data sheets).• Ability to analyze technical problems, debug issues, and propose solutions.• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.Education:Currently pursuing a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or related field.
