Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support electrical engineers and design staff.
- Oversee electrical design for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunications/data systems.
- Perform and review electrical calculations, lighting layouts, circuits, and switchgear designs.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams from design through construction.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Assist with proposals, project scoping, fee development, and business growth initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; Wyoming PE licensure must be obtained upon hire if currently licensed in another state.
- 7–15 years of progressive experience in electrical design, project engineering, or project management.
- Strong expertise in building electrical systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design software, including Visual and ElumTools, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
