Retail Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with product sales, stock management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively sell items. Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed attractively. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store. Utilize effective phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders. Requirements Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management and sales tracking. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with a passion for helping customers find what they need.
