Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Follow-Up Rep

ColumbiaDoctors Medical Group / Ambulatory Medical Practices MSO Inc., is looking for experienced Professional Billing Insurance Accounts Receivable candidates. Minimum of 2 years’ experience Must have working knowledge and understanding of all healthcare insurance plans, coding and billing competencies, strong customer service skills, account research, follow up with insurance carriers and patients, working denials, claims, appeals, identifying trends, charge corrections, claim edits etc. Epic EMR experience strongly preferred CPC preferred, training available Must be professional, neat, mature, determined, responsible and reliable with proven track record and retention Self-starter, and ability to work independently. Goal driven. Team players only Knowledge, compliance and understanding of HIPPA guidelines Must complete Columbia University Code of Conduct and Billing Compliance new employee training Must complete annual training for HIPPA and Billing Compliance required refresher training Working in a highly accurate, independent and efficient manner Strong customer service and communication skills Remote/hybrid options are accommodated according to team/dept. schedule These positions serve the multi-specialties of Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine, GI and Endocrine specialties.
