CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide excellent care for our patients and support their rapid recovery.
Key Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant:
You will assist with daily living activities, such as serving meals, feeding patients when needed, helping with mobility, repositioning, and providing hydration and snacks between meals.
You will monitor patient stability by regularly checking vital signs and weight, and documenting intake and output.
You will enhance patient comfort by using available resources, transporting patients, responding to call lights and requests, and reporting patient observations to the nursing supervisor.
You will complete necessary documentation, including forms, reports, logs, and records.
You will adhere to policies and procedures to ensure smooth work operations.
You will maintain patient confidentiality to uphold the organization's values.
You will keep your skills and knowledge up-to-date by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional literature, joining professional organizations, and maintaining certifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications for a CNA:
Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Proficiency in relevant nursing care practices
Friendly and professional bedside manner
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to multitask effectively
Strong oral, written, and reading communication skills
Awareness of legal aspects of patient care
