Our small but mighty team collaborates closely to deliver environments that clients genuinely enjoy living and working in, with an emphasis on longevity and comfort.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role located in Mill Valley, CA. The Interior Designer will translate client needs and project goals into cohesive design concepts, including layouts, material palettes, and furniture selections. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and supporting project management from concept through installation. The role involves sourcing FF&E, developing construction and design documentation, conducting site visits, and ensuring projects adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality standards. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the studio team to maintain a consistent design vision and deliver projects that reflect the studio’s high level of craftsmanship and design integrity.Qualifications Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development, material selection, and FF&E specification.Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically balanced layouts for residential and/or commercial interiors.Knowledge of Architecture fundamentals and experience coordinating with architectural and construction teams.Ability to produce clear, accurate Construction Drawings and documentation using industry-standard design software.Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Experience managing design projects from schematic design through installation, with attention to detail and quality.Strong visual communication skills, including rendering, mood boards, and client presentations.Excellent organization, time management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Mill Valley, CA.Familiarity with sustainable design practices and quality craftsmanship is beneficial.
