Overview In this role you assist junior staff and collaborate with developers and production DBAs to deliver scalable, efficient data solutions. You translate business requirements into robust data architectures, ETL processes, and data warehousing strategies for mission-critical projects. You ensure alignment with IT strategies and architectural standards while mentoring teammates and supporting production. You work across clients, management, and analysts to drive design and delivery through the SDLC. This position offers impact on enterprise-wide data initiatives and cross-functional collaboration. ResponsibilitiesContribute to multiple enterprise-wide projects requiring technical expertiseParticipate in systems and data analysis, design, development, integration, and production supportDevelop project scope and act as a point of contact when neededEngage in project-planning with clients and analysts to analyze requirements and provide design recommendationsConduct unit tests based on technical documentation to ensure client needs are metMaintain and improve web applications or client/server toolsManage unresolved production support issues across areas of expertiseProvide design recommendations and develop integration solutions and major enhancementsModify existing software per specifications and standardsFollow SDLC processes and promote reusable componentsTranslate business and technical requirements into cross-functional systemsCollaborate on development guidelines with teamProvide application support during regular and after-hoursStay informed on industry trends and new toolsBe aware of risk within their functional area and report violationsPerform other related duties as required Key requirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems or related field10 years of related experience including data design and project managementexperience with multiple programming languages and metadata managementcollaborationcommunicationmentoring of junior staffdata designETL processesdata warehousing
