If you would like to be a part of a growing team, apply today and start your career with First Supply!Responsibilities Supervise warehouse staffRoute sales orders to accommodate efficiency and customer requestsEnsure that all orders are loaded and secured for efficient, timely delivery processesEnsure that orders are checked for content and labeling and note any discrepanciesOversee ship verification process to assure that product on the dock is confirmedEnsure that all picks are completed, labeled and loaded accuratelyMonitor staff productivity to ensure that trucks are loaded, and deliveries are made in a timely mannerEnsure that systems and procedures are implemented and communicated to staff in a timely manner and are followed consistentlyProvide performance plans and feedback for assigned staff to Warehouse ManagerMonitor attendance of staff and address issues of concern appropriately and per company policyAssist the Branch Manager in the hiring, developing and performance improvement of assigned staffAssist in the training of staff on any appropriate equipment usedEnsure the work area is clean and safeOther duties/responsibilities as assignedQualifications Previous warehouse experiencePrevious leadership experienceKnowledge of freight companies and prior experience scheduling (preferred)Knowledge or experience with plumbing and heating supplies (preferred)Forklift experience (preferred)Functional capacities evaluation which demonstrates ability to safely perform the essential functions of the positionFirst Supply is a leading main channel wholesale distributor, providing industrial customers and building contractors with an extensive line of products and services.
