Sheet Metal Technician

Metal Technician We are looking for a dependable Metal Technician to support daily manufacturing operations. This role involves hands-on work throughout the production floor and requires someone comfortable with physical labor, precise measurement, and operating a variety of metal-working tools. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in a fast-paced industrial setting.Primary Responsibilities Remain on your feet for extended periods while performing production tasks.Safely lift, push, pull, and carry materials up to 75 lbs., with assistance when needed.Perform tasks that require reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, or crawling.Conduct manual inspections of components and operate hand tools and material-handling equipment.Read and interpret gauges, measurement tools, and control indicators accurately.Core Qualifications Ability to read and understand technical drawings, customer specifications, work instructions, and blueprints.Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or production role involving hand tools and material-handling equipment.Technical or vocational training in metal fabrication, machining, or a similar field may be accepted instead of direct work experience.Preferred Experience Familiarity with electric and pneumatic tools, including sanders, grinders, and similar equipment.Background in aerospace manufacturing is a strong plus.Experience with machine operation, including turret punch presses, shear presses, or related equipment.Why You'll Love Working Here We offer a competitive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage beginning the month after your first 30 days. Standard work hours are MondayThursday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, on the first shift. The environment typically ranges from 55F to 85F. Proper PPEsuch as hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, and protective clothingis required at all times.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Kent, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
