Are you living your life's work?Position Description:The Penn Occupational Medicine team provides services to employees of the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) at 3 locations in Philadelphia: Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Pennsylvania Hospital (PAH), and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC). The provider group currently consists of 5 Nurse Practitioners and 3 Physicians who see patients in the outpatient setting.They are seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) - to join their team. The new hire will be based primarily at HUP but may occasionally rotate through PPMC and PAH, as well. The providers manage a wide range of employee health needs, such as:Medical care for workplace injuriesWorkers' compensation managementEmployment examinationsEnvironmental consultative servicesEmployee health assessment programsFitness for duty evaluationsReturn-to-work evaluationsSurveillance for Occupational Health concernsCandidates should be able to commit to an average of 2-3 day shifts per month.
