Project Engineer
Position Summary
The Project Engineer supports the successful execution of construction projects by assisting Project Managers and field leadership with documentation, coordination, cost tracking, scheduling support, and quality control. This role serves as a key link between the office and the jobsite, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents.
The ideal candidate holds a construction-related degree or has 2–4 years of field experience and is eager to grow in construction project management. This individual thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is comfortable utilizing modern construction technology platforms.

Education & Experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a construction-related discipline, or
2–4 years of construction field experience (such as project management support, superintendent support, estimating, or trade experience)
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, review, and tracking of RFIs and submittals
Support Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Support production work on-site in a team environment
Assist estimating with bidding and bid package preparation
Participate in jobsite meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Assist with quality control checks and ensure compliance with contract documents
Learn and apply construction project management best practices
Utilize construction technology platforms (Procore, AutoDesk, Construction Cloud, BlueBeam, Microsoft Office, Matterport)

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move between the office and active construction sites for extended periods
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and navigate uneven terrain
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to inspect work areas
Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 25–50 pounds
Ability to visually inspect work, read plans, and observe site conditions
Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically in noisy environments
Ability to travel between job sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to wear required PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe footwear
