Quality AssuranceDutiesPerform all quality related functions for the location such as Tests, Inspections (Internal & External), Reports, Set-ups, Filing, etc.Cut, prepare, and inspect samples from all rolled products for dimension, weight and workmanship at the rolling process.Maintain and operate tensile test machine and bending test apparatus to check conformity of rolled product to specification physical requirements.Detect and report nonconforming material and deviations from specifications to supervisor.Use a large array of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment.Perform data entry of test results and inventory into computer systems.Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area.Skills RequiredAbility to read and operate measuring instruments.Basic computer skills such as familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required.Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs.Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication.Must be able to perform the physical task of the job assigned; to include climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.Shift - Days, 6:45 am to 7:00 pm. Alternating Wednesdays to Tuesdays (7 days on / 7 days off)Start sometime in June (negotiable) End sometime mid-October (dependent on maternity leave date)Steel-toe boots will be required for retrieving samples from the production floor. All other PPE will be provided.
