Coffee Barista

North Pole Coffee is seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team at our Airport café. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons. This role requires a passion for coffee and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Operate the POS system to process payments - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee station and dining area - Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours - Assist with food preparation as needed Qualifications: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere - Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently - Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Shift: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
