Machine Operator - 2nd shift

Job DescriptionPosition: Laempe Machine Operator (2nd shift, starts at 1:30pm)Train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeksEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Sets up, runs and monitors Laempe core making machine to make sand coresStage production supplies, load sand and resin mixturesInspect core for visual defects, cracks, etc.Clear sand buildup, perform basic daily machine upkeepPerform other duties as requiredQualifications, Skills, and Abilities:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School diploma/GED or equivalent preferred2+ years Machine Operator / Foundry experience, core making preferredAbility to work independently and follow specific work instructionsWork Environment and Physical Demands:Handle moving objects: Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials.Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking stooping and handling materials.Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs consistently and perform other heavy manual work in a hot and dirty environmentJob Type: Full Time.
