Lead HVAC Mechanic

Job Description The Lead HVAC Mechanic will oversee a small team of 1-3 members, providing expert troubleshooting, diagnostics, installation, and repairs for residential and commercial HVAC systems. This role demands frequent travel between multiple facilities and requires hands-on leadership in managing HVAC tasks while ensuring safety and quality standards. The position offers clear growth opportunities including advancement to supervisor roles, additional training, and cross-departmental career paths.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose residential and light commercial HVAC systemsInstall and repair HVAC equipment, including thermostats, TXVs, blowers, compressors, and ductworkPerform drain cleaning, evaporator coil pull and cleans, HVAC installations, and maintenanceConduct low voltage controls work and light commercial HVAC diagnostics and installsLead and supervise a team of 1-3 HVAC mechanics, ensuring adherence to safety proceduresTravel frequently to multiple residential and commercial sitesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and installationProficient in HVAC systems, electrical wiring, mechanical repair, and blueprint readingStrong knowledge of safety procedures and team leadership skillsEffective problem-solving and time management abilitiesExperienced with HVAC installs and Housecall Pro (preferred)Skilled in HVAC TXV diagnostics and repairs, as well as light commercial HVAC diagnostics and repairsPreferred QualificationsUniversal 608 CertificationEPA CertificationJourneyman card preferredCompany Description Our business was established with a singular vision: to bring military-grade discipline and integrity to the HVAC industry.
