You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.ResponsibilitiesPerform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, patching drywall and paintingInstall appliances and equipmentDo garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.Conduct maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systemsCheck functionality of safety systemsCollaborate with workers and other professionals during renovationsReport to a facilities or maintenance manager for issuesSkillsBasic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems preferredExperience using hand and electrical toolsAbility to read technical manuals and drawingsVery good communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical stamina and dexterityHigh school diploma or equivalentSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred)
