As the Family Advocacy Treatment Manager, you shape how the installation prevents, identifies, and treats child and partner maltreatment. You design and evaluate clinical services, lead risk and safety assessments, provide crisis intervention, and guide commanders and medical professionals through the most complex family situations. The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is hiring a Family Advocacy Treatment Manager (FATM), GS‑12, at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho.Primary Purpose of the Position Provide Professional clinical social work or marriage and family therapy services in support of Family Advocacy Program. You will design, develop, maintain, implement, and evaluate clinical services for Mountain Home AFB Family Advocacy Program! Serves as Subject Matter Expert providing consultation to leadership and medical professionals. Must maintain active clinical privileges for the duration of employment. Must sustain current competency to practice at the independent level. In order to meet MTF credentialing and privileging currency requirements, must have actively practiced as an independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist within the past two years.Additional RequirementsSocial Worker: At a minimum, qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the 0185 occupational series must be met. Selective Placement Factors: Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands.Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist: At a minimum, qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the 0101 occupational series must be met.
