CI Engineer
Job DescriptionMain TasksSupervises launching performance and takes leading role for project transferSupports the CI process team for process improvements and quality improvementsParticipates in the activities of project in RFQ phase, provides process data etc. informationDetermines and develops the manufacturing concept including process layout (considering lessons learned from prototyping phases)Specifies required machines, tools and fixtures respecting available standardsDefines required process schedule and personnelVerifies and confirms manufacturing feasibility of productSetup and update Standardized Work ChartConducts Process FMEA and contributes to Design FMEAChecks available and required equipment and prepares capex request for required capital equipment and obtains approvalDevelops the process documentation required by the systematic standard and/or other applicable standardsEnsures fulfillment of (short term and long term) process capability and equipment safety requirementTakes lead of project sample manufacturing, include internal performance testLeads new process/technology roll out in teamContributes to project success by regular attendance of project team meetings, reporting of status and co-operation with other team membersAdditional duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience in the field of Engineering4 years of relevant work experience in Production PlanningKnowledge of Lean Production Principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.Knowledge in ISO/TS 16949 requiredAbility to travel up to 50% of timeExperience and knowledge in APQP tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.)Proficient use of IT-tools (MS Office, cProjects, CIMDATABASE, SAP…)Strong organizational and time management skillsPositive attitude with good interpersonal skills and ability to support a team environmentMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-taskAbility to productively work alone or in a team environmentEffective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organizationSelf-initiative and ability to work under pressureStrong understanding of safety requirementsMust be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policiesMust be able to lift a minimum of 50lbsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
