Tax Associate

Taxation & Wealth Planning Associate Our client is seeking an Associate to join their Taxation & Wealth Planning Department in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of experience in general tax, trusts and estates, and estate planning. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina. Strong academic background and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Preferred experience working with trusts, estates, corporations, family-owned businesses, private foundations, and other tax-exempt entities. A Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation is highly preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle complex legal matters. Proficiency in advising clients on tax-efficient strategies and wealth planning. Ability to manage and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and businesses. Work Environment This role operates primarily in an office environment, utilizing standard office equipment including computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. Physical Requirements Sedentary work involving sitting for most of the time. Occasional walking and standing as part of the job duties. Ability to exert minimal physical strength (lifting up to 10 pounds). Visual Acuity Requires close vision for activities such as data analysis, transcribing, computer work, and extensive reading.
