Job Title: Front End Web DeveloperLocation: Hybrid in Austin or Dallas, TX onsite 4 x weeklyDuration: 18 MonthsJob Description:As a NextJS web developer (experience engineer), you will play an integral role within Client's in-house agency, Creative Center (C2), contributing to and executing on our marketing and business partners' vision. You will help ensure high-quality digital experiences for our consumers, collaborate on the strategic direction of digital marketing, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences that support Client's broader business goals.THINGS AND ABILITIES YOU HAVE:More than anything else, you are a curious web engineer with the ability to think through problems from both a technical and user experience perspective. You are passionate about building accessible, responsive, and maintainable applications, continuously improving your skills, and following client engineering standards and best practices.Lifelong learning mindset and ability to grasp complex technical conceptsStrong analytical skills to translate business and system requirements into technical solutionsExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in business termsConfidence interfacing with business partners at various levelsAbility to manage high priority initiatives and deadlinesSelf starter mentality with strong diligenceRespectful collaboration and awareness of how communication impacts othersResponsibilities include:Develop and maintain enterprise web experiences using NextJS, React, TypeScript, and Sanity CMSBuild reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components that support Client's digital design systemTranslate UX and visual designs into responsive, accessible, and performant web experiencesPartner with designers, content authors, business analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality digital experiencesConfigure and support content models, schemas, and within Sanity CMSDevelop integrations with APIs and dynamic content sources to power personalized customer experiencesOptimize websites for performance, accessibility, SEO, and responsive behavior across devices and browsersParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile team ceremoniesTroubleshoot and resolve application defects, styling issues, content rendering issues, and performance concernsFollow established development standards, testing practices, accessibility requirements, and governance processesCreate and maintain technical documentation, implementation guidance, and support materialsContinuously learn emerging technologies and contribute ideas that improve team effectiveness and digital experiencesCollaborate across Marketing, Creative Center (C2), MarTech, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated solutionsWHAT YOU HAVETechnical Experience:Proficient, hands on experience building modern web applications using React and/or NextJSExperience developing reusable components and maintainable front-end codeExperience integrating Sanity or other headless CMS to populate frontend environmentsFamiliarity with TypeScript and modern JavaScript development patternsUnderstanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and semantic HTML practicesBasic understanding of headless CMS platforms and content-driven web architecturesExposure to API integrations using REST and/or GraphQLExperience using Git for source control and collaborative development workflowsFamiliarity with debugging tools, browser developer tools, and troubleshooting techniquesUnderstanding of web performance fundamentals and optimization best practicesExperience working within Agile delivery teamsPreferred/Differentiating Experience:3+ years' experience with ReactJS and NextJSExperience working with Sanity CMS, including content modeling, schemas, Studio configuration, or GROQ queriesExperience building applications with TypeScriptExperience with Tailwind CSS and component-based design systemsFamiliarity with reusable pattern libraries and enterprise design systemsFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, Mabl, Jest/Vitest, or similar development and testing toolsExperience working in regulated industries such as financial servicesDemonstrated passion for learning new technologies and modern web development practicesVALUES WE FOLLOW AND REQUIRE.CURIOSITY: Champion curiosity over consensus.
