From fulfilling a single patient's request for their medical records to powering the AI revolution in healthcare, Datavatters are building the future of how data is connected and used to improve health.By joining Datavant today, you're stepping onto a driven and highly collaborative team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.Position HighlightsFull‐Time: Monday‐Friday 8:30‐5:00 PM OR 8:00‐4:30 PMLocation: Stockton, CA and Lodi, CA (hybrid role requiring travel to sites in Lodi, CA 95240)Processing medical records and handling calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical records statusDocumenting information on multiple platforms using two computer monitorsPreferred customer service, data entry, and release of information experienceFull benefits: PTO, health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, and tuition reimbursementYou willLead, train, and motivate a growing and excited teamCommunicate and collaborate with leadership on issues, opportunities, or challengesLead the audit team which receives requests from payorsReview data and provide client and leadership solutionsBring new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholdersManage requests coming in from the risk management team of the clientBe the leader of client locations and plan for fluctuating needsOversee escalation calls from our centralized call centersParticipate in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiativesCoordinate with location/client management on complex issues while building strong relationshipsWhat you will bring to the tableA true leadership philosophy in which the goal of the leader is to serveAbility to support clients and your team working both on‐site and remotely1‐2 years of health information related experienceWell‐versed with HIPAA standardsSkill in presenting to leadership, clients, and your team via video or in personSolution provider and forward‐thinking mindsetDetail and quality oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical recordsProficiency with Power BI and Microsoft OfficeEMR experience with EPIC or CernerPrevious production/metric‐based work experienceExperience building a team and elevating individuals' careers1‐2 years of experience managing a team including staffing, performance management, and time and attendancePay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role.The estimated base pay range per hour for this role is: $24 — $30.15 USDTo ensure the safety of patients and staff, many of our clients require post‐offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID‐19, etc. Any requests to be exempted from these requirements will be reviewed by Datavant Human Resources and determined on a case‐by‐case basis.
