The start date is ASAP for this permanent position.Job Title: Platform Lead - Engine Development & CalibrationLocation-Type: Remote - Up to 50% travel required to Sheboygan, WIStart Date Is: ASAPDuration: PermanentCompensation Range: $113,000 - $144,000 + bonus potentialBenefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTOMust be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Job Description:Provide technical leadership across a diesel engine portfolio, supporting development, calibration, and ongoing product improvement initiatives.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Lead diesel engine development and calibration activities across existing platformsServe as a technical liaison between internal teams and external engineering partnersSupport engine performance, emissions, durability, and validation effortsProvide technical guidance on engine components (e.g., turbochargers, pistons, cooling systems)Manage project timelines, budgets, and riskOversee engine testing, instrumentation, and data validationSupport emissions compliance and certification activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and qualityDrive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiativesRequirements:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)7+ years of experience in diesel engine developmentStrong engine calibration experience (critical)Deep understanding of combustion, emissions, performance, and durabilityHands-on experience with engine testing and instrumentationWorking knowledge of thermodynamics, stress analysis, and control systemsExperience leading technical initiatives or programsStrong cross-functional collaboration experienceWillingness to travel up to 50% to Sheboygan, WIPreferred Qualifications:Background in generator or power systems applicationsExperience with emissions certification and regulatory complianceExposure to advanced fuels or multi-fuel enginesPrior experience as a Platform Engineer or similar leadership roleExperience with cost reduction or continuous improvement initiatives
