Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoDiagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root causeUse SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilize computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actionsDetermine grades and sizes of bolts, pipes, tubing, cables, and wiresInterpret blueprints, drawings, and schematicsMonitor and inspect equipment for defects. Properly remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, overhead cranes, hand, and power toolsPrepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsWork safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPEParticipate in CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety CulturePossess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, electrical, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, fluid pumping systems, and heat transferAll other duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedMinimum 3 years of field experience in either heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing environment strongly preferredExperience with welding, cutting, fabrication and equipment maintenance preferredAbility to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shiftAbility to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spacesAbility to utilize precision measurement instrumentsAbility to work rotating shifts which include nights, weekends, and holidays.Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needsStrong communication skills required.
