You will become an expert in our power test equipment, work directly with customers to solve real-world engineering challenges, and support product integration across complex testing environments.Responsibilities include hands-on testing, system integration, technical documentation, remote and on-site application support, and close collaboration with engineering, product, and sales teams. You'll engage directly with engineers and researchers developing next-generation power technologies.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical resource for customers evaluating or using Rexgear power test equipment.Develop and implement application-specific test solutions for power electronics, battery testing, EV systems, and renewable energy applications.Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and product demonstrations.Design and execute bench tests, proof-of-concept evaluations, and system integration setups.Create technical documentation, including:Application notesIntegration guidesWiring diagramsSCPI, Python, and LabVIEW examplesCollaborate with engineering and product teams to provide customer feedback and drive product improvements.Conduct equipment training sessions both remotely and on-site.Support automated test system development and hardware/software integration projects.Travel up to 10%for customer visits, installations, and training.Minimum QualificationsU.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Experience or coursework in power electronics.0–3+ yearsof experience in applications engineering, test engineering, systems engineering, or power electronics (motivated entry-level engineers are encouraged to apply).Experience using laboratory equipment such as:OscilloscopesDC/AC power suppliesElectronic loadsSignal generatorsSimilar electronic test equipmentPreferred Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of power electronics fundamentals:DC/DC convertersAC/DC convertersInvertersBatteriesControl systemsAbility to read and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test setups.Hands-on experience with test automation or remote instrument control using:PythonLabVIEWSCPI commandsExperience with industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus RTU/TCP, EtherCAT)Prior customer-facing technical support or field service experience Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills in customer-facing environments.Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative engineering team.Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn advanced power test systems and applications.Why Join Rexgear?Work with cutting-edge power test systems used by leading technology companies.Gain hands-on experience in:Renewable energyElectric vehiclesAerospaceHigh-power electronicsJoin a fast-growing engineering team with excellent opportunities for career development.Competitive salary based on experience, education, and skills.
