Role: Forward Deployed Engineer Location: Wilmington, DEMode of Hire: Full timeJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE 2) with a strong background in AI-powered applications and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure AI services and a proven track record in implementing advanced AI architectures. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.Responsibilities:Design and develop AI-powered applications utilizing Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, and related frameworks.Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases and semantic retrieval techniques.Develop orchestration workflows that integrate AI agents with human-in-the-loop review processes.Build cloud-native applications using Python and API-based architectures.Deploy AI solutions on Azure, leveraging managed services and secure cloud patterns.Collaborate with teams to ensure the successful integration of AI technologies into existing systems.Skills Required :Proven experience with Azure AI services and deployment of AI solutions on Azure.Hands-on implementation of RAG architectures using vector databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone).Experience in developing orchestration workflows involving AI agents.Strong programming skills in Python and experience with API-based architectures.Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5-7 years of relevant experience in AI application development and cloud technologies.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with agentic AI platform implementations.Knowledge of AI Foundry, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.Understanding of semantic retrieval techniques.
