We aim to execute our Built to Make You Better brand promise for all our stakeholders, including our associates.Requisition ID :20359Employment Type :Full TimeJob Category :MetalworkingWork Location :St Henry, OH (TEG)<h3> Monday-Thursday 9:00pm -7:00am EST</h3> BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:Regrind, recondition and/or manufacture cutting tools per instructions.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Clean tools utilizing the ultrasonic dip tanks, according to instructions.<li>Operated the autoclave washing machines.<li>Steam clean coolant holes, to ensure they are unobstructed.<li>Operate the polish peen blast cabinet.<li>Return tooling to proper location after completion of work order instruction<li>Assemble loads for the coating vessel.<li>Operate the coating vessel and troubleshoot small problems.<li>Operate the cleaning vessels.<li>Complete paperwork according to work instructions.<li>Report & communicate daily to Department Lead and/or Production Manager<li>Other duties as assigned from time to time by upper management<li>Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose.<li>Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required</ul>EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>High School Graduate w/ basic math skills</ul>SKILLS:<ul><li>Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously<li>Ability to read blueprints<li>Ability to read work order instructions<li>Ability to train others<li>Ability to lift 50+ pounds</ul>OTHER REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Minimal hazards. General shop working conditions.<li>8 weeks on-site job training with other Tru-Edge associate – work 100% checked <li>Training requirements:<li>General Safety Plan <li>Emergency Action Plan <li>Fire Safety Plan </ul>Compensation starting at $14.80/hr - $20/hr depending on candidate location and experience.The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
