Plant Manager
Job Description: FORVIA, a sustainable mobility technology leaderWe pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people.Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesWe’re hiring a Plant Manager.Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Plant Manager for its manufacturing facility in Columbus, IN to oversee end‑to‑end plant operations, aligning people, processes, and performance to achieve strategic business goals. This leader fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring operational and financial results. You’ll work on challenges that matter.This job will require you to:• Assume the management of the Autonomous Production Unit (UAP) Managers and of the support function managers (HR, Quality, Finance, Logistics, Purchasing,…)• Ensure smooth inbound and outbound information flows• Ensure customer satisfaction• Drive plant Quality, Cost, Delivery, People (QCDP) performance, and build and meet the plant budget • Drive product and process QCD improvement• Optimize plant lay-out and equipment usage• Ensure manufacturing readiness and launches at plant level• Drive supplier performance improvement• Define a deployment plan for the FORVIA Excellence System and implement it• Drive plant improvement networks and involve everyone in continuous improvement processes• Ensure employees safety, respect for the environment and security of the plant• Fulfil legal responsibilities and interact with local authorities• Ensure staffing, induction, training and development of plant employees• Manage social climate and labor relations• Develop future FORVIA experts and managers Your profile and competencies to succeedThe ideal candidate.To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field• Proven experience in production management• Proven experience in team management• Ability to build and manage a budget• Results oriented• Minimum bi-lingual (English required)• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to FORVIA's Code of Ethics and Code of Management #FORVIA2026What we can do for youAt FORVIA, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.
