Patent Litigation Associate - Mechanical Engineering

A top IP Law Firm's Mechanical Practice is seeking litigation associates in multiple offices, including:Washington, DCReston, VAAtlanta, GACandidates must bring :1+ years of substantive patent litigation experience, including researching and drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion papers.Experience in the mechanical arts combined with knowledge of computer technology, coding, and signal processing.A J.D.A technical undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.Exceptional writing and analytical skills.USPTO registration is a plus but not mandatory.About the PracticeIn the last five years, the Law Firm has represented clients in more than 200 appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Whether enforcing IP rights or defending against infringement or trade secret misappropriation accusations, their litigation teams know the procedural intricacies and calculated risks to consider in business disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, advertising, and trade secrets.The base annual pay range for this role is between $225,000 - $260,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity.
