OTR TRUCK DRIVER

Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including manual transmission and automatic tractor-trailers tank deliveries. Load and unload freight efficiently. Maintain compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations, including hours-of-service rules and safety protocols. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to safety standards. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly. Communicate with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any unforeseen delays or incidents. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving over long distances. Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks and tank type such as trailers. Knowledge of trucking regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial driving. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
