Position Description Asante's imaging experts go above and beyond. All our technicians are highly trained, exceeding state requirements with advanced certifications in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and bone density scanning. Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with technicians at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.The Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer performs a variety of specialized ultrasonic procedures while assisting physicians in patient diagnosis and various ultrasound-guided surgical procedures.Position QualificationsEducationCompletion of an accredited imaging program Licensure/CertificationsBLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon startARDMS or ARRT: American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographer registry in either specialties of Abdomen (Abd) and/or Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/Gyn) - OR - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registry in Sonography (S) within 6 months of hirePermanent Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license in Sonography is required OBMI temporary license is acceptable for new hires.
