Job OpportunityLocation: Junction City, KSShift: 12 Hour Night Shift (United States of America)Hours per week: 36Job Information Exemption Status: Non-ExemptA Brief OverviewThe preceptor responsibility and accountability is to provide guidance and mentorship to new hires as they go through the orientation process. The preceptor will demonstrate competency in the department by following policies and procedures. They will maintain clinical expertise by attending workshops, seminars, and in-services related to the needs of the department. Participates actively in clinical education activities, including orientation of new employees and teaching student nurses.Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Must meet educational preparation or other qualifications within specified time frames as determined/outlined by specific department policy.Experience Qualifications9 months Stormont Vail Health RN experience; directors' discretion. RequiredHave successfully completed Stormont Vail preceptor course training. RequiredSkills and AbilitiesNo Corrective Actions at warning or above. (Required proficiency)Must be an FTE status (no PRN).
