Material Handler / 1st ShiftNesco Resource is hiring a Material Handler for our client in Conover, NC. Pay: $17.00 an hour - temp to perm position. Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. + hours - most nights will work 12 hours.Material Handler - job description: The Material Handler moves and marks finished goods and scrap foam from various machinery and departments.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist various areas of operations with positioning foam onto pallets for production and shippingMove empty flats to end of conveyor linesUnload and leftover foam blocks on conveyorsMove finished and unfinished products as needed throughout operationsEnsure all flats of material have ticketsUse hand trucks, buggies or other material handling equipmentAssist in wrapping department as neededOther duties as assignedMaterial handling experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAttendance / PunctualityQualityQuantitySafetyGood attention to detailAble to work accurately from verbal and written instructionsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
