Senior Civil Project Engineer / Project Manager

Job Description Role Summary Our client, a growing civil engineering and land development firm, is seeking a Civil Engineer to support and lead site development and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing project ownership, contribute to design and planning efforts, and work closely with clients and internal teams across the full project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities Lead and support civil engineering and land development projects from planning through final deliveryPrepare and oversee civil/construction plans, drawings, and technical documentationManage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communicationsServe as a point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory stakeholdersReview design work for accuracy, constructability, and regulatory complianceSupport site development planning, infrastructure design, and site analysisMentor junior staff and contribute to overall team developmentParticipate in proposals, client meetings, and business development activities as neededRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 2+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land developmentDirect experience with civil/construction plan preparationStrong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DU.S. work authorization requiredCore Competencies:Strong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong technical and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Qualifications 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land developmentProject management experience and client-facing experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit of licensureCompensation & Work Model Salary range: $90,000 – $130,000 annually, with flexibility for highly experienced candidatesOnsite roleRelocation assistance available for qualified candidates; sign-on support may be offeredBenefits include dental insurance, vision insurance, and paid time offAdditional perks may include flexible scheduling (e.g., alternating Fridays off)
