Job Description:Role: Technical Project ManagerLocation: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Only Locals OR Can Relocate)Experience: 12+ YearsJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with 12 years of industry experience, preferably with a strong background in Banking, Payments, and Credit Card domains. The ideal candidate should have started their career as a Java or .NET Developer and transitioned into a Project Management role.The candidate should have hands-on experience in credit card issuer systems, including card application, account management, billing, payments, rewards, collections, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills to manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: -Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goalsDevelop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budgetsCoordinate cross-functional teams for effective collaboration and communicationMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategiesFacilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholdersEnsure adherence to project management methodologies and best practicesPrepare and present project status reports to senior managementDrive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancement opportunitiesManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailMandatory Skills:Strong experience in Project Management principles and methodologiesPrior experience as a Java or .NET DeveloperExperience in Banking, Payments, and Credit Card domainsKnowledge of credit card issuer lifecycle (billing, payments, rewards, collections, etc.)Strong leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Agile and Waterfall methodologiesProficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)Good to have skills:PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certificationExperience with regulatory compliance in financial systemsExperience in large-scale enterprise project deliveryEducational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related fieldAdvanced degree or relevant certifications are preferredProven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
