Serving as the authorized account representative, this role develops and maintains strong supplier and customer relationships while executing integrated sales and marketing strategies. The position supports account growth through product knowledge training, merchandising execution, inventory management and in-store support to maximize sales performance and customer satisfaction.Job Duties:Ability to perform all essential responsibilities for the Market Sales Manager is to include:Travel to customer locations to perform sales, support services and product knowledge training for vendor products in assigned storesResponsible for building and maintaining strong supplier and customer relationships to increase salesCreate market feedback reports regarding customers and competitors; provide recommendations for new products based on market trendsSupport and provide product knowledge to customers by demonstrating and providing product application trainingRespond to customer sales and technical inquiries in a timely and professional mannerResolve customer and supplier concerns or disputes effectivelyCollaborate with key stakeholders to identify new sales opportunitiesFacilitate sales, marketing and promotional campaigns by acquainting accounts with the latest sales techniquesResolve any customer and vendor differencesAssist with placing special ordersExecute merchandising initiatives, including planogram compliance and maintenance of product displaysManage and maintain inventory levels, make adjustments as requiredAttend and represent the trade / industry shows and training sessions as requiredCreate and report sales impacts to managementTravel with AMS Regional Manager designated and/or Customer Manager when necessaryComply with all AMS and Customer policies and proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedRequirementsTravel required which includes overnight staysAbility to work varied hours/days as business dictates is requiredMust be Microsoft Office proficientBilingual (English-Spanish) language proficiency a plusExcellent communication, presentation, written and technical skills requiredMust possess a valid driver's license and provide proof of insurance (must meet company's minimum requirements)Provide excellent customer service to customers and vendorsRequired to lift up to 50 lbs.Frequent standing, bending and twisting requiredHS diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred2 years of sales/commercial product experience preferred1 year of field sales/customer service experience preferred#AMS2
