Join our team at Buddy Brew Coffee, a specialty coffee company, and become a key player in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our guests. We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Barista. Full time and Part time positions available.Responsibilities:Greet guests warmly as they enter the cafeGuide guests through our diverse drink and food menu, answering any questions they may haveTake orders with careful attention to details such as coffee blend preferences, dairy choices, and sugar requirementsPrepare a variety of hot and cold beverages following Buddy Brew Coffee recipesServe beverages in a high-quality and presentable mannerHandle cash transactions and process credit card payments accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work stationEnsure stock levels of ceramic, cutlery, and paper goods are adequateRegularly check and maintain brewing equipment, reporting any issues in the shift reportAdhere to local health and safety regulationsCommunicate guest feedback to managers for continuous improvementActively suggest menu additions or alterations based on customer preferencesPerform other duties as assignedSkills:Previous work experience in the Food/Beverage industryBarista experience is preferred but not requiredHands-on experience with brewing equipmentKnowledge of sanitation regulationsFood Handlers certification in Florida (or ability to become certified within 90 days)Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysBasic math and cash handling skillsAbility to understand and respond to guest preferencesExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in close proximity with others in a cooperative manner
